Just offering options. No one is telling him not to rebuild it as is.

The wear is actually where the bearings ride. You can see the bearing track on the race surface in the photo.

But if you can't feel it, ride it until it needs replacing.

I’ll be that person. It’s cracked. Even if the chance of catastrophic failure is small, it’s your front hub.

Unless that’s your only front wheel, you should fix it before riding it again.

If that hub uses 7/32 balls, the races will be the same as the recently discontinued Pista wheelset and hubs.
Go to www.campagnolo.com, click on Support, then fish around for a parts catalog from, say, 2015.
You will find the part code for the replacement cup therein.

I'll be that person: Jesus would do a head-plant when the hub failed.

I had a wheelset once that used Campy Veloce hubs. They were...not as good as Shimano hubs at a similar price point. The front hub never held adjustment, and devoured itself when I was about 15 miles from home.

Ride them sure, but not very far, or far from home, and always know in the back of your mind that your front wheel might just stop spinning.

Wow lots of opinions including some funny funny guys... So I took it to R&E and the guy was like start looking for a replacement, he didn't want to start looking for races for a hub this old. But I just think finding a classic hub like this in a 24h drilling will not be easy. The races don't appear to me to be either of the ones from the Euro-Asia imports site. Not sure how much time I want to spend on a wild goose chase for races that may or may not fit... but I may do a little searching...
The rims also only have one more season at best so a rebuild next winter will be in order anyways. I have already repacked the hubs, they spin fine with no detectable roughness. This wheel is not from my back-of-beyond bike, so I think I feel ok riding it this season from May - Sept and hopefully find a replacement by next fall.

I told you how to find the part code in my earlier reply.
All your bike shop boy needs to do is punch that in to your local Campagnolo distributors B2B.

Or you could find the same model hub in 32-hole or 36-hole drilling and punch the races out of those.

OMG here's the part code you need. Still a current product.

I'm shocked there's no part number for the oil hole clip.
