Nice. It looks like buyers of this type of fork now have two options, with the Rodeo Labs Spork being the other.

I'm pretty excited about this new market. Still waiting to hear feedback on that Spork.

Nice. Will they offer it unpainted?
I see a fair amount of these Niners in my travels and the secondary color at the fork crown is U-G-L-Y.

If I have a kid it will be named "Maxle".

Or "Sharrow" if we move to Portland.

The Niner fork has a reputation of being extremely stiff and when combined with their BSB carbon frame a harsh ride.

I thought this fork had been out for quite some time. It would be really nice if it had a better approximation of a hole in the crown.

I am glad to see the additional clearance on the RDO. When in muddier conditions and I run a 40 mm tire on my TRP fork the mud quickly becomes like 60 grit sandpaper to the paint and carbon.

Has anyone seen a weight for this fork anywhere?

There is also an option from fyxation:
    Fyxation All Road Carbon Fork

    | Fyxation

Wonder how the weight of the fyxation fork compares to that of the niner RDO gravel fork.

The Niner is full-carbon. Weight is around 650g with uncut steerer.

Now that this thread had been bumped up, I have a question for Toots/the mods—why can't we like a post more than once?

    Thanks! Hadn't seen that anywhere.

So tapered carbon steerer (vs straight alloy). 15TA (vs 12), 650g (vs 740g). and $550 (vs $240) are the differences between the niner and the fyxation...

The Niner (and the Spork) are tested for MTB usage, which may explain why they are overbuilt. But in the event of trail riding with front luggage, I find that reassuring.
For a reason I can't explain, I wouldn't trust an straight alloy steerer/carbon fork with disc brakes and luggages.

Not to be gender normative or anything but have a boy and a girl so you can name them Maxle and Sharrow respectively.

Doomed to long trail. There still isn't a 65mm offset version of any of these carbon forks...

Also noted here - must not be deemed sufficient demand, but I hope this changes.
