What are y'all using those flush cutters for?

I've always just used fingernail clippers for zip ties

There is a special place in hell for people who leave sharp pointy zip tie cutoffs.

Fingernail clippers can't easily cut heavy-duty zipties, and there's an other 100 uses for flush cutters. But I have "generic" ones from Park/Clarke, most of the work is done by Knipex rope-cutters anyway.

We use the fingernail clippers all the time here, with many Bromptons repaired and sold per day, you really need them.

Fully annealed titanium soldering strips. I bought these for silversmithing (musical instrument making and repair) but they would be big enough to hold frame braze-ons, particularly if used in pairs. They can be bent by hand to make soldering clamps and, unlike iron strips or wire, they stay hard when red hot and do not get stuck to the solder.

PSA - KC Tool is having their annual 20% off sale until Monday. Now’s the time to snag those pricey German tools!

I think someone at the shop ordered a set

I wonder where the removal end falls between a hex plus key and a full on extractor

While it is not the motivator for the purchase. If the removal end helps a few fasteners come out. It will be time saved.

The Park Torx set. So far the hex wrenches from above are working well.

    Looks good

I’m curious to get a set in hand once the Canadian distributor gets more in stock
