Default ENVE Road Disc Fork Clearance - 650B

The latest version of the ENVE Road Disc fork states it can clear a 700x32 tire. Anybody tried a 650 tire on it? Would it clear a 650x42 tire?

Itís clears it for what I would consider road use, 650BX38 is more appropriate.

    So, the ENVe will accommodate a 650b x 38, but not a 650b x 42?

for dirt stuff I aim to have at least 5mm clearance around the tire. Justin is probably suggesting something similar.

Resurrecting as itís useful to me to know. As far as 700c goes, anyone know if this is measured width or nominal for the 700 size?

I fit a 700x32 Donnelly Strada USH on a HED Belgium Plus disc rim. The tire measured 34 mm with calipers and it fit well enough to be a great setup on the 180k D2R2, but clearance was only a handful of mm all around — enough for zero rub in the dry conditions. The USH does seem to have a kind of square profile with its herringbone edge tread, so I'd guess a truly slick tire in nominal 32 mm width would fit more comfortably, even on a wide rim.

I have a Schwalbe Pro ONE 28 on a wide rim that measures out at 32.5mm. It fits with plenty of room and I could probably get a tire that measured out at 34mm without too much concern but that would be the absolute max I would go.

So, the Rene Herse x38 is a tubed tyre. Are there any better 38cc tyres, or others that are go to tyres? Looks like some used 650b wheels might be the ďsensibleĒ first step
