    Thanks Nick, I wasn't sure if it was because they are using it internally that they just decided to use all the space available. I'm not complaining, the thing makes life so much easier.

    This is one of the use cases where a rear IS mount can be preferable. You can unbolt the IS/Post adapter from the rear triangle and leave the caliper/rotor relationship intact. I considered this with my coupled single bike, but decided to stick with mechanical discs. I wasnít sure I wanted to deal with hydraulics in hotel rooms all over the place, and I already had the mechanical group.

    TT: what size rear rotor are you using? Perhaps a machined widget can get you to that size and allow you to unbolt the brake entirely without having to recenter the post mount.
