Gears depend on fitness and spin/mash preference. I'll use 38x19 and just enjoy the day.

Man thinking about the stream crossing with shots after, the nitro coffee, bar stop, wide open gravel, spirited segment hunting... I'm already excited!

Thanks for the confirmation! I was hoping to run 2x1 and file treads. Sounds like I'll stick close to that plan.

I just checked out the route as I noted the ride from the coffee thread. You guys will have a blast. I've hiked a lot of the trails in the area and canoed with my wife from Ansonia to Waterville a number of times. It's a very remote area of Pennsylvania and very beautiful indeed. If you are in downtown Williamsport, Alabaster Coffee https://www.alabastercoffee.com will brew some good coffee for you if Too Tall doesn't have his Flair in full operation, as I noted that they're one of the sponsors. There is also a Wegman's https://www.wegmans.com downtown near the Hampton Inn if you are in need of supplies and beer.

You most likely know that there are quite a few black bear in the area along with Copperheads and Rattlesnakes. I'm sure that the bear will scatter once they hear you coming but the damn snakes do what they want. Keep your eyes open and post pics for sure.

No, not really. It's a RUSA permanent route, though. And can be ridden informally by anyone too, of course.
