Missed the VSalon crew, reconnected with my old Van Dessel teammates (who remain infinitely faster than me a decade later) and had a generally great day. Rekindled the fires that have been waning through this long, crappy winter. One more storm to get through this week.

Sorry we missed you bub. Let's make sure to exchange cell #'s so for next time. Speaking of...what's next? Are you going to do anymore of his events?

PM'ing cell. Might do Fools Classic on April 7. These (and those of Brian's Fleche Buffoon) are my everyday roads out the back door - Brian and I are literally next door neighbors. I've also registered for Brandywine Roubaix on 4/8 - a little closer to you geographically. I did it last year for the first time and it was great - comparable event in quality to HoH and new riding grounds to me.

4/8 I'm at N. Carolina sorry I'll miss that. Save the route we'll go do it two up eh? I'll check my calendar for the others.

    HOH 2019 Roll Call.

This is a fantastic little leg opener ;) The event is very very well run. This year I'll be there with Airstream, fingers crossed.

Looking for a VSalonista with local knowledge who can tell me where I can park my rig the night before. I plan to leave early and park at the event to clean chains and generally make a nuisance of myself.

Early weather forecast looks reasonable I'll prolly ride my Zanconato shod with Compass Bon Jon tyres. The course is quite rideable on a road bike with 25's.

Made my day. You know where to find me. If all goes according to plan there will be easy chairs and beers under the awning attached to a giant shiny thing.

I can't make it this year. Pre-rode about 3/4 of the course today. Weather was spectacular. I can say without hesitation or exaggeration that the dirt roads are in better shape than the blacktop in NJ. Smooth sailing on the dirt, for sure.

This course is ideal for a fast road bike on 28's.

I'll hang with you as long as possible and then you can fly off like a little birdy. Angry, thanks for the terrific pics. I'm riding a different bike this year and it happens to be a fast road bike with 28s.

Will be fueling up at Early Bird Coffee in Frenchtown Nj and heading over. We’ll see if the time in the trainer pays off. If not, there’s always beer afterwards. And if so, there’s beer as well.

Come say howdy. Look for the giant silver travel trailer behind the lodge.

Will do, Too Tall. Will you be needing coffee? Brick Farm in Hopewell makes a good cup, but there’s a bridge out between there and there so you’d have to work for it by taking a few detours.I’d be glad fill up an extra thermos

You are the best. Yeah, I'll take you up on that. Tap on the door if I'm not outside.
