Default Bishop Bikes Fieldtrip - Southwest France Edition

    Howdy Friends,

Next year we're running a tour with our friend (and N+1 enabler) Mr. Bishop. I thought it would be a good idea to share this info with some like-minded cyclists, so here you go!

    From the site:
Join Award-Winning Frame Builder Chris Bishop for a Unique Road Cycling Tour in the Beautiful Central Pyrenees and Southwest France, plus an Invitation-Only Visit to View A Rare Historical Collection from Franceís Golden Age of Bicycle Construction.

Give the page a read for more details:

You don't have to ride a Bishop to join. A lot of work has gone into this tour, and it has shaped up nicely. Feel free to ask any questions. We hope to make this an annual excursion; next one will be on really crappy (I mean fun) roads.

    Thanks!
    Scott

P.S. Thanks TooTall for the bandwidth and the NFS!

Thanks Scott, you are a solid dewd and miss going to your shop in the States.

This is my in-laws neck of the woods. Closer to their old house than their new but I might need to snag a few turn sheets from you. I will hopefully be there next summer too but maybe without a bike.

Hope it sells out- everywhere I have been thatís mentioned on that website is a-ok.

Also youíll not be too far from the bike church.

It was closed when we stopped in on the way from Gers to Biarritz.

We were in that area in September this year.
Beautiful cycling. Should be a terrific trip.

We stayed a week in Domme, 2 night in Meiruis and 5 in Cordes sur Ceil.
Wonderful cycling. Rolling roads and beautiful villages.
Notably we did the climb to Mt Aigoul and were surprised to see it was the finish climb for stage 6 next year of the Tour.
Ps...Not that hard a climb really but very lovely tiny roads.
