Hard to believe that is 60(!) years old-it looks flawless.

Frame off restoration a few years ago. He said it’s visually perfect inside and out, drives a little rough pending a tuneup.

My pop has had a few toys (one at a time) over the years; mainly a couple late 70s Beetle ragtops and a 68 Landcruiser.
The latest is a 62 or 63. Can’t wait to see it in person.

Lovely! Reminds me of a light blue bug driven by an art director I used to work with. She told me her husband found it for her. We often left the garage at the same hour, me on my bike, and I’d be happy to let her go first so I could appreciate the car.

Yes. Near Petaluma, CA. A friend sent the pic. Conjecture, but likely something hid underneath. Also tore up the wheel wells.
