Default Spring has sprung.... different point of view

I was asked to teach my son's second grade class about plant biology this year. It has been a blast and I really focused on the underworld, roots and soil and all that stuff. In doing so, I created a soil scanner, an old scanner which I waterproofed, place verticaly into a 5 gallon bucket full of dirt and seeds, and then I programmed a raspberry pi to take a picture of the soil every 10 minutes, stitch those pictures to together to make a time laspe video. Check out this video and the YouTube site I created. Cool Stuff.

Nice! What's your line of work? (I was a soil scientist.)
