If I had Spooky socks, it's all I'd wear. Where can I stock up, Mickey?

New Spooky website(s) will be going up by the end of the month.

The first sock we're running is going to be a 'lil too warm for South Florida outside of dawn-patrol rides, but should help you cut down on shoe cover use in the winter.
3 season(spring/fall/winter) socks for places that actually have seasons.

We're coming up on our cold season (it's a week long), so count me in!

They same that Dave Tieymer made badass aluminum track frames

He quit making them, so we get our hands on one and cut it in half to take a look.

So, now we make a better bike, much better, and go racing...

    something different:

Fillet brazed steel straight outta Bushwick!

Billy started working at Spooky when he was 14.
15 years later he's spearheading our move back to NYC.

Our clothing site is now live!

We've taken over exclusive US distribution of garments manufactured by one of Colombia's largest cycling clothing manufacturers.

We are using badass Invista fabrics and really swell Italian chamois and time tested cuts that we have tens of thousands of miles of saddle time in.

We are open for pre-orders on the garments above.

Pricing is pretty dang nice on this stuff- the tastefull black bib shorts you see above are only $120!

We're also offering custom team wear for your team, shop or bro-ski marketing scheme!

I got to play with this bike this fillet-brazed bike that Billy just finished up this weekend on a very cold day at Bear Mountain.

Somebody needs to tell this kid that you don't have to make a bike this well.

Sexy! More photos please. Yes you'd only want to ride that bike when everything is completely frozen or dry.

No worries, the bike is clearcoated!

I think our friend Atom is going to swing by the new shop in Brooklyn pretty soon to take some pictures of the thing.

It's nice big Columbus Life pipes(with one of their new 44/56mm headtubes) and some hooded Paragon dropouts.

Ah that hadn't occurred to me. I was looking at the space behind the seattube.

I'd love to ride that thing if it were 3cm smaller. Looking forward to the pics.

aaah- It's Billy's personal(work(aka messenger)) bike, since he'll usually run slick tires in the 28mm range he decided to pull it in a bit.

    mickey

Is the front end as slack as the picture suggest?

Any reason to go fillet rather than TIG?

    Thank you.

It's 72 degrees up front, which is standard for a cx bike that size.

Billy started production tig-welding when he was 15(bmx forks for Kink, FBM, T1). He picked up brazing in art classes in college and found that he really enjoyed the heck out of it.

Nobody did any brazing around the Spooky factory when we were kids. Too slow.

hey everyone, Billy here. Just thought i'd join the conversation instead of lurk the thread as i usually do. Mickey has been right on about everything. Lots has been happening since we joined forces, and i couldn't be more stoked on the momentum we are approaching 2014 with!
