Speaking of bikes that fit me - Brother Andy gets a new bike soon:

Crema purchased in 2012 still going strong. Here our protagonist is taking in the vistas from Saddle Peak in Topanga Canyon, CA. I'm not meticulous about bike cleaning, but when I do give it a bath, it sure sparkles and pops. I should probably clean it more often!

I forgot to ask last time I saw you ... are you a pistachio person in general?

In Bolgheri, Italy, there's a little gelato place - if you've been on one of Andy's Castegneto trips you probably know it. The pistachio gelato there is... transcendent.

    So yes.

    How's that fork working out?

    magnificently, as you'd expect

I'm trying to be smart enough, in my 50s, not to trim my 60s off of that nice steel steerer. I'll send you a picture once I make up my mind.

There's a little hidden gem of a modern Italian restaurant not far from my home. It's our favorite date night place. And their pistachio gelato is, as you say, transcendent. Trumps all other deserts.
