This is a cool bike with a very unique, but subtle look about it. Love the fork...what blades are those? Would ride, oh, yes. Stellar work on the linkage fork from the last page as well. What a cool bike!

Thanks for the kind words, Richard, much appreciated.

About your question on the fork blades, it's a prototype of my own made with two unicrown oval blades welded together, one of them half cutted and mitered to "cover" the front side of the "complete" other, then filling the welding bead to smooth surfaces before painting and make it look like if it was one single blade. Result is good and certainly looks like if nothing odd happened "inside".

This is a pic of the cut/mitered half blade before welding:

You know, when you can' t find what you're looking for, it's time to make your own.

I noticed that photo in the previous page and filed it in the "well that's a cool photo" category without really thinking about what that piece of metal actually was! Carry on Aimar...love the bikes and your spin on photographing your process! Thanks for sharing.

    Dear Aimar,

I really enjoy looking at your work!
It seems to me that there´s something dark and gloomy about your bikes - but they are also glamourous ;-)

    Neo-Gothic or Neo-Romanticism - that´s how I would call it :-)

Best wishes from Germany (I have also noticed that you use a lot of Reset Racing Components) :-)

Thank you for such nice words, Benjamin, much appreciated.

And yes, I do like Reset, always trying to use as many European made quality parts as possible (although just being european doesn't mean is ok, so also use other foreign brands with the right attitude/quality), being Reset definetly one of my favourites as a high end hidden jewell and Johannes is a nice guy.

Thanks again for your comments, much appreciated

    Cheers
