    Default What are they thinking?

If you're going to show off your new model, you might want to use a picture
that doesn't show the cable guide coming loose from the frame.

Maybe (probably) I got it wrong, but I think the setup could be ok: there is a transparent liner that covers the cable coming out of the frame and ends with the black rubber thing that could be a seal to keep dirt out.

THe black rubber thing is actully the guide which glues into the frame.
The cable is too larger and when the cable was pulled thru it pulled the guide out.
A lot of carbon frames are set up that way.

I see. Pretty sure the cable is inside a transparent liner, probably they tried to push the whole thing through the guide but being too thick it displaced it.

    Serious bike lust generators!
And I am SO happy Carbonsports finally paid someone to do a graphics update. (I'll gladly take the old ones with the amateur-looking logos off your hands, if anyone's got any.)
    Based on a true story.

Are you sure? The caption says it's running GORE sealed cables, so isn't the transparent piece the shielding and the black rubber piece the part that seals our the dirt from getting into the transparent shielding?

To be honest, it could be.
It's really too hard to tell.
Looks like a big hole in the bottom bracket area but I might be totally wrong as usual.
