Arrione Versus Saddle - The nutgutter edition ;) No verdict yet.

Antman - Mate, we will need to see your CX rig once it is ready for primetime.

Hopefully some spokes I need for a build.

Already got some killer rims and hubs (not for me).

Well, they didn't arrive today. They arrived last week and I hope to install them next week when I get home (finally...) They will replace my 9-year old original Records, which work fine. I wanted to try the new (now like 3 years old) shape and these popped up available and I am still running 'obsolete' 10-speed stuff.

The cross bike is done, these parts are for my new road machine :-D

    You saw this one right?

It's currently got a reynolds post in place of the oval which lives on my Longstaff.

I went that route. Very happy with the results. New shape, minimal financial commitment.

Never thought I'd be so happy replacing Record with Centaur on my road bike.

Saab you will love those. I just put some on my Zank CX and they shift and brake/feel way better imho.

I wonder if there is any difference at all between the Centaur/Chorus/Record except the 10-speed mechanism and the graphics? I kinda doubt it.

couple grams maybe. doesn't matter, that new shape is the bees knees. I put some on this spring for the first time and sort of kicked myself for not doing it sooner.

I have the new Veloce on my old Fuji and they seem really nice too. Oh, I just received this awesome, crusty old 19th century Seto Horse eye plate in the mail this week. I <3 Japanese Ebay.

Thanks! You may be aware of the British potter Bernard Leach? This type of folk pottery embodies the sort of spirit he and his pal Hamada Shoji admired and tried to emulate.

Dude...your Centaur levers are lacking the little faux crabon sticker on the shift paddle. Clearly, Record is better.

    A campy seat post bolt.

The last piece needed to get the Sachs up and running for CX season.

I am still trying to get the TRPs adjusted. I may have to ask for some help. I have learned on this forum that I am a shitty mech.

    ^^ fancy.

You are going to have to beat people of your wheels with a floor pump.
