I'm thankful my mom taught my bro to sew. I asked him to make me a handle bar bag for my kid and I that's big enough to hold a tent, 30 degree down bag and thermarest mattress for some bike packing trips. There's even enough room to st suff a rain jacket on one end and shock cord to lash it down on the outside when not in use.

i'm now the proud 2nd owner of a maxstar 150 sth that was previously lightly used by a friend of mine.
came with buncha collets, upgraded torch and pedal, and some tungsten and rod. gonna pick up a tank tomorrow, and the files are in the mail.
    time to practice practice practice.

what you're probably not expecting is that i'm not going to be building a bike frame (for now), gonna build a subframe for my motorcycle!
    Yay bikes.

Three boxes of honey waffles for ride snacks. I reached a max limit on peanut butter Powerbars a few months ago and this is the replacement. Also lately I have been obsessed with honey so this fits into that body weirdness. I crave honey on toast each morning. I don't ask questions, I am just the servant.

Two new sets of Rudy Project photochromic lenses. Love their RLG program. Less than $50 total for the nicest lenses out there.

Two pairs of Assos F1-Uno S5 Logo shorts that were on sale at ExcelSports for what I normally pay for Giordanas or Louis Garneaus, the other two brands that fit me well. But as everyone here including Lionel's grandmother told me over and over again, Assos fit so much better, take laundering better and have better chamois than anything I've tried so far. Since Excel has been selling these things off, I've been slowly accumulating a stash that hopefully will last quite a while. I'll save the other brands for winter riding.

Oh and I also got a copy of the Oxford Shakespeare - Complete Sonnets and Poems. Couldn't find mine. Probably loaned it out to someone and....

Don't worry, I've had a power meter for 1.5 years and I still suck.

Texas doesn't have a state income tax, but they make up for it with a very high property tax rate. And they keep the appraisers busy upping the property values each year.
