Black is where its at! The color of the frame pops out and the bike looks like a total speed demon.

That bike could use the black Deda perforated tape with the perf holes showing blue underneath.

I have been running one for well over 2 years with the loops. Use blue loctite on the adjusting bolts. The only issue I had was the post slowing coming loose, I'm talking weeks of use and never to the point where the saddle was actually becoming physically loose. I periodically check the bike over and the torque was off. Been fine since.

I think most of the parts have landed. Just waiting on the Ashima AOR10 rotors to land. The frame is in queue and scheduled to be painted this weekend. The latest parts have landed:

    Juin Tech F1 calipers
    Extralite compact chainrings
Extralite Ultratop 44HD headset, this thing took a while to make its way over from Italy.

After installing it and using it, I have to say it's the lightweight post I've worried about the least of the few ridiculously light carbon posts I've had - namely Mcfk, Tune and THM.

That said, I decided I preferred the integrated look of the original Colnago post and sold the Darimo pretty quickly.

This showed up today. Bars have been adjusted since. I was warned this color is hard to capture. It really is. Gorgeous in person. I'll get better photos for the Richard Sachs gallery thread soon.

For many people, ^this^ would be their one and only. For Matt, this is 100 miles on Tuesday morning.

This pair of delicious White Industries hubs arrived. They're the right hole count (28/24) and show virtually no signs of having been used, even though they were. The bearings are like floating in the air. So smooth.

Interested in seeing more of that color for sure!

How is the ride compared to your Gaulzetti(s)?

Some shots that better show the purple over here: https://www.velocipedesalon.com/foru...ml#post1061395

It's smooth and stable and confident. Hard to compare since even the Gaulzettis are all fairly different in how they handle. It's probably closest in road feel and handling to my Pavaix, though those are the only two bikes I have on 28mm tires, which I would expect to factor in quite a bit. The RS corners brilliantly. It seems to be a pretty awesome all around bike. We'll see if any other characteristics emerge as I get more miles on it at different pressures or with different tires. I'm thrilled, though.

I look at these and think how aesthetically backwards we have come these days.

Talk about truth in labeling, these guys aren't kidding.
Mounted them with tubes day 1, with heat gun and Kool Stop tire jack.
Day two put in tubes, no heat, with tire jack.

Iíve downgraded this 11spd derailleur for a 10spd 12-30 cassette with down tube shifters.
