New toolbox for my office! Been wanting one of these for a while and couldn't resist this one in blue which matches everything else in here.

Gave me nightmares at the weekend though - I originally ordered it from one place but there was an issue with my card. The day after that I found it somewhere else 25% cheaper so cancelled the original and ordered it there instead - it arrived the next day and I got charged by both companies. Just had a fear that 2 would arrive. I can't get it in my car so not sure how I would return it.

Problem solved this morning - checked the delivery note and it's definitely the cheaper one which arrived, phoned the other company and refund pending.
Only issue is that this one has a dent in it so they're sending a replacement - not sure how they're going to dispose of this one but that's not my problem at least.
It's not the years, honey. It's the mileage.

Keep both. If you think it's too much tool storage then it's just about right.

Too late - already got a refund.

Got the dented one exchanged too - shame, I was hoping for some unfortunate incident where I would be left with both. The dented one would have gone beautifully in my garage...

My directional compass has swung once moreÖ (although I canít afford to actually build it right now!)

If only I hadn't previously sold the exact groupset, brakes and wheels that I would build it with right now... #facepalm

I see a color theme evolving - somewhere on the blue purple spectrum.

    Campy EPS + Bora 50ís?

Certainly Campag and Boras - but spec depends on price and secondhand availability. 4-arm 11v Super Record and late model 50mm Boras is about where I’m hoping/expecting to land. 12v EPS and WTO 45s would be dreamy, though!

Luckily I sell a lot too. General rule = sell stuff to buy stuff. I don’t earn enough to do it any other way - that’s why I can’t afford to build this until I sell another bike!

Oh, I get that. Anyway, as Elliot Goblet used to say, ďYou canít have everything. Where would you keep it?Ē But you must have alerts set up at every used bike site known to man...

You have to have parts. I have as much of NOS Suntour as I can afford (&) find.

The C64 build took a slightly random turn based on a complete lack of new Campagnolo availability and secondhand prices being *insane*:

I was always a SRAM fan and itís been a while, so why the hell not.

Agreed! I've been buying long cage rear derailleurs and wide range Campagnolo 10 spd cassettes as I'm content just riding along with down tube shifters, be it indexed or friction these days.

It makes feel like I'm a teenager again riding with the now outdated equipment, but it's just so simple. No disc brakes, batteries or hydraulics...so much has happened in my life it's now my go to happy place...

I just need to save for that Chris Kvale frame now.

Now a decision about where to go. This showed up as an open box, no return item and I said what the heck- all the parts were there.

Be sure to come to me first if you move it on, @dubrat, yeah?!
