This little piece of treasure for a track bike I’m piecing together. It matches the cranks I’m using.

Favero power meter pedals. Seem to be decent. I've got so used to having my power when doing online time trials I hated racing without it in real life.

I don’t know why I bought these but to me they’re one of the most beautiful brake levers out there.

I gave up looking for some Ti silver Salsa skewers so went for heavy and reliable…

I've always gone for budget tires and butyl tubes, reasoning (erroneously it seems) that the performance loss was likely not discernable. After 1500+ miles on Vittoria Corsa's and latex tubes on my new Bishop, I'm starting to second guess my earlier assumptions.

Thus - this latest purchase for the Lynskey. Plus a new pair of Giordana bibs.

    Smart move IMHO.

No lightweight open cam skewers in my garage.

The first in a string of French-themed components arrived. Today's instalment was a pair of alloy tubular Mavic Cosmics from 1995.

However, I now feel the need to find some period-correct skewers for them too...

I never would have done anyway, but especially not given its aesthetics! I can't believe they've released that without realising how it looks... #facepalm
