I have no personal experience with the bike or it's maker (and the color is not to my teste) so what could i say about it?

Been testing this for a while now. The world renowned OGC brand. Didn’t exactly have high expectations. But it was SO much cheaper than Seasucker and Seasucker is so taking the piss expensive I thought I’d give it a go.

Actually, I think I prefer it. Obviously it works. A vacuum is not a complex thing to achieve, but it lets you convert between QR and thru-axle, rather than making you choose like Seasucker.

Thanks to two of these and a couple of roof bars we can now comfortably take 5 bikes on the roof. Adding a tow hitch is a 4 figure proposition here so that will have to wait till we get a new car. Fortunately our existing wagon has a long roof.

It was an EBAY thing. They don't seem to have a website! Hence the high expectations And obviously there are none listed (that i can find anyway!) for sale at the moment. Rockbros make some, but based on reviews of their bells I won't go there.

Typically the photos for a listing will show a three cup front mount on some and a wheel carrier on others. The description never seems to match ALL the photos. Still, it was AU$104 per rack so worth the risk i thought. I did track one listing down to a website which looked promising, but they never responded so it's not worth passing on!

These guys look proper and have a website...Kupper Mounts Bike Racks - Born To Roam, Bike Worldwide!, cheaper than Seasucker, but not EBAY cheap. But it does offer the QR/thru axle versatility.

Is "OGC" Outdoor Gear Canada? A reasonably big distributor of bike parts in Canada? Keeping in mind that more people live in California than all of Canada.

It kind of looks like a fork mount bracket home shopped onto a couple of window suction cups.

A fork mount and a cupset might run $40-50 total. That's super cheap. Would I trust it? Sure, why not?

Yeah, thanks Sinclair , I suspect it is. Although mine were drop shipped from the far east somewhere.

So, I stand corrected, they do have a website..Sport equipment distributor - Cyclism & snowsports | Outdoor Gear Canada. It's just that it wont help....although i suppose you could email them easily enough.

I don't think it is related, logos aren't the same at all.

I don't know if it is or isn't related. Logos change over time. I remember OGC having house branded stuff some 20 years ago. But you may be right, might not be the same OGC. But some smart math person might be able to come up with the odds of some bicycle component company coming up with the same three letter name randomly. I believe it's 26X26X26 or 17576 combinations of 3 letters. So not impossible that someone else had the same name for a bike component related company.

Full attribution for this amazing work goes to Carson Leh of Leh Cycling. Hoping the whole package will be done before the end of the year.

What can I say, I'm a Lemond fan. Took me a couple of years to find one of these in perfect shape. Metal, 16X23 and bright, scratch free colors. Until I find a Zurich 47-49 that fits me, this will have to do. Up on the garage wall....while my lovely wife scratches her head. :)
