New kicks (same as the old kicks, Sidi why did I ever leave thee?) Arty t-shirt including non-NJS compliant wheel (is this cultural appropriation?) Re-enactment wool jersey from some coffee shop in Italy that sadly, I'll never likely visit, but I got the jersey.

I'm being 100% serious when I say this..... I didn't order this color to emulate my former (now with a new Salonista here) Hampsten single speed. I felt it would go well in the woods! Last week I'm looking at it and I realize it's the exact same color. I love it! I'm really looking forward to getting this one built up.

Went down south to NYC and discovered a delivery from truly down south.

    Tasmania specifically.

My favorite kit was made by Eleven but they got out of the clothing business and Breathe Velo took it over.

With my odd shaped body, custom is the only way for heaven.

So excited that 6 pair of, as they say down really south, knicks were here waiting for me.

BTW, a little while back there was a thread on non-crazy branded jerseys.

These folk make them and the quality from Breathe Velo is second to none. And, you can buy them in normal standard sizes or have them tailor them to your specifications.

The weight on their web site looks as if their jerseys are summer weight merino? Do you have any of these? Also I did not see an option for modifying the fit or is that only for the bibs? Thanks

On the custom part...they don’t list that for shorts either. But I asked on their contact us form and they said sure. There was a minimum order and I had to pay a little more but it was well worth it.

Since you asked about jerseys (which to me are summer weight), I asked Mark Munnings who is the guy at BreatheVelo...this was his reply
“The only way I can really do a custom fit is if I do a batch of 5 bibs, shorts or jerseys. I’m more than happy to do these but they will be at a premium price compared to our regular kit prices.

Obviously there will be a time lag in the delivery of these as I’m at the mercy of a sewing team that do other work as well.

I love to work with people getting gear to them that they love.”

Again, I think the quality on the shorts is fantastic and they nailed the fit with the measurements that I had given them. (In addition to saying I want a normal size waist but 8” inseam and blah blah, I had also sent them pictures of a garment with a ruler and a “make it 1/2-3/4 inch shorter here” kind of email”).

They were great to work with and worth the little bit longer wait.

Good news, I will probably order one of their stock jerseys --- the Super Domestique -- and see how the goes. Summer weight merino sounds just what I am looking for. Thanks.

You should see the hats stuck between that Corsa's chainstays. A couple of fez (fezes?). One from Morocco and one from a Shriner.
