Oh heavens no. These go on Mavic Open Pro Ceramics, 32h, 3x, to Record hubs.

Jealous. I wish I’d never sold my Reflex Ceramics or Open Pro Ceramics - they’d be *perfect* for my Klein right now!

Another surprise from overseas...Noodle Jr's (aka the Nitto Mod. 174) with the same sweep, a little less drop, a little less reach and little hard to find in silver. Patience is not one of my many virtues but that's why we search for those hard to find goodies over the Winter, right?

Does anyone know if the new Open Pro Exalith that was announced a year or three ago is shipping?

I've got a set of ceramic Reflex rims on black record hubs that I'd sell if you need a pair. I'm sure shipping makes something like this a reach.

There was something messed up about the first run that was cutting tires? I don't think they ever fixed it, just stopped selling them.

    Electronics came last week.

    Wheels showed up today.

Still need to convert rear axle from QR to 142x12.

That's too bad. That rim was more or less all I wanted in a conventional road wheel.

I understand that Mavic might not have a great incentive to produce those rims; I've been riding my OP Ceramics for over a decade with only minor truing tweaks.

Excellent! I think you'll like them.

That rear light is pretty bright, if the front not blinding. But the ever-ready reliability of this setup will never disappoint. I'm hoping for a dynamo return soon myself. I've had a Supernova headlight and a dynamo hub in the past and it never ran out of battery. Keep us informed.

You lot are like dealers; and I think this could become a gateway drug - especially now that I know my LHS (that's 'local hardware store') carries the brand, damn it...

Try some of the 1/4" bits with a small ratchet. They are very nice.

I have the 1/4 flex ratchet from Wera, it is really nice. I also have a bunch of their holding 1/4 bits- also very nice

the little bit drivers are ok- i have a Stahlwille that takes 1/4 hex. It has super low drag and is high engagement so it works really well in tight situation. If you are going to use the bit drivers in a constant fashion I have a coworker that has 3 or 4 snap on ones so he doesnt have to swap bits very often.

The colour coded allen keys are the best thing ever. I have a set of PB Swiss that have taken a beating over the last five or six years, but still look really good. The paint is wearing but the stainless tools still look great. I can't stand using non colour coded ones as I have a tough time seeing the difference between a 2/2.5/3 just grabbing one.

Finally, as everyone should have a JIS 2 driver, you should also grab a Wera Kraftform 2 and 3mm driver with their hex plus heads. I have a set of 2/2.5/3 that I've heat shrunk the shafts on to tell them apart. I can take a photo at the shop tomorrow. Modern shimano/SRAM derailleurs use a 2 or 3mm allen key- get a nice one for doing adjustments

Dakine hot laps slealth hip pack. Small fanny pack with space for the bare minimum. Meant to be worn under your jersey.
