Another disappointing day - still waiting for parts ordered from ProBikeKit (PBK) a month ago. Ugh!

You can easily hit refresh more than 100 times in an hour. The faster you click, the faster it will arrive! Great looking frame.

Nice, looks perfect size for me, is it a 53?
    How you goin' build it?

I came across this one on Ebay today - but it's overpriced for Athena.

This comment is comforting as I feel less alone in being totally OCD about refreshing tracking numbers when anything bike related is in the mail.

Pair of Outlier New Way shorts. Much different fabric than the older Three way shorts. Looks less technical and less stretch (2 way instead of 4 way - good enough for shorts). Fit almost exact compared to three way - very nice.

Wahoo! Yes, I replaced my Computrainer with a Kickr. The difference is rather remarkable...the Kickr feels much more fluid and road-like, and the mount makes a LOT less noise. I also really like how the profile of the bike is now flat without the use of a front wheel block. And all the new apps and wireless control makes the package feel modern and convenient. All in all, the first ride was pretty convincing.

you are spot on, this "ESA Mexico(?)" has a 53cm. i dont know how i will build it, this is my first NOS. suggestions?
much to the horror of the entire cycling world, i would like to try a nifty DI2 fit on it. gawd have mercy on my soul for this abomination i will bring into the world.

After waiting the better part of two weeks for a ls PT jersey to arrive I was heavily mired in a debate about sizing and whether I should ship it back and get the updated version in a darker blue. Fit is beyond my wildest dreams, and I have rather excessively wild dreams, other than how the fabric lays over my shoulders in the flat backed riding position.

Maybe chasea could comment on how the two versions differ?

Running the cables for Di2 wouldn't be my first choice, given the braze-ons on the frame.
You could do mechanical Dura Ace 9000, and build dura ace 32 hole hubs with something like Ambrosio Nemesis rims.
Nitto pearl stem, and m106nas handlebar works great with modern shifters. Flite Ti saddle.

I'd likely build it with late 80s vintage Dura-Ace, either 7 or 8 speed (depending on 126 or 130 dropout spacing)
but then i've been collecting these parts for years, and have 4 groups sitting in their boxes waiting for the right
    projects.

Some Shimano inner cables cause mine shredded. 15 minutes later--shifts like new...

Rapha Imperial Works Bibs. I'm not an Imperial Works member - but they are the same as the classic, have a different color band on the leg, and were $25 cheaper. And some Rapha Merino socks, likely for daily use.

If you want to read about it vs play with it, DCRainmaker's review has lots of good info. On his site he also has good how-to guides. Have fun Jim!

PS. Stop posting about being able to ride outside.... -4 here right now with little letup in sight.....

It was 32º when we roared off like a herd of buffalo this morning. A whole 21 miles. Nobody wanted to go further. I'm about to head over for a short treadmill workout.

I'll check out that link. My first ride with it will hopefully be Monday. I need to get this Garmin Connect thing figured out too.

So it's been rideable but not exactly vacation weather for riding.
