^ I've been rocking 13/29's for the last three years coupled to a 52/39 crank and I wondered how I lived without it. Next move; mid-compact crank with the the right mix on the cassette and after that, a pedi-cab.

I don't think I'm ever going back to a standard crank.. I'm a climber and I can turn the cranks so much faster with a 34, a 36 is great too.

New beast of the east shred sled. Got it out in the park for a little family ride today, will have to see what I can do with it later this week. Pretty stoked so far.

    Go on. It's rather cathartic.

Here's one I did the other day. Really bad one was the big torch. The better one was with a new to me much smaller torch. I did lots of things wrong purely to see the effects and it's promsing...

hehe, the reason I did not post a brazing pic, was the practice metal was old and hard to clean... so you can imagine...

Came as a surprise. Absolutely elegant set of tools! Will dirty it up as often as needed.

I got a goodie basket from Paragon. 15mm front axle, 15mm TA front dropouts, and a Willits Caliper mount. Time to get brazing!

    Grab-bag of oddities.

A light switch. A generator- powered USB power supply. A 9/8" steerer adapter for the switch.

And a pair of KEF reference 101s from 1982.

None of which make up for a lost month on the bike, but I can breathe again thanks to three rounds of zithromax, I will have fun soldering up a wiring harness in a couple of months, and the speakers sound lovely.

    Cheers,

    Will

Received some NOS Chorus 9 speed 172.5 cranks and matching BB from Shino today. Orgasmic. Will go with the other stuff I've been hoarding for the rebuild of my built for me '97 vintage Kenevans ELOS. All I need is some Chorus 9 speed hubs and cassette but have run out of money so they will have to wait. I have some 600EX hubs in GP4 rims which are barely used and were built in '98. Going to build a cassette with spacers to match the Campy shifting. Only other thing waiting on is a full set of decals I ordered weeks and weeks ago for the respray. I am having to replace the drive side chainstay damaged by chain suck and decided to put in new drop outs as one had cracked years ago and was only repaired. This will be one bike I will keep for ever.
