If you munged the first attempt at entry, try again from the back side to straighten things out. And with a little lube.

    Worked perfectly thanks thollandpe.

Should I be detecting some euphemism, or is that just me?

Picked this up across the hall for my ti Hampsten. Came with blue plates, and another forum member had posted he would trade his black for the blue. Deal done.

Steve provided instructions on how to refinish to be a good match to my frame. And if I screw it up I can send it to him to do it right:)

I'm thinking once it's refinished I'll go sans Moots graphics for that understated look.

Looking forward to personally experiencing the magic carpet ride I read about here. Thank you Belgianwerkx!

The postman brought these goodies to my LBS today. I'll be turning a couple bikes to 11.

I have these tire. And aside from not having enough miles on them yet to assess long-term durability, I find them to be really nice.

I rec'd a pr of 40mm Clement MSO's in the mail today and threw them on my Trek Crockett. It looks like a mountain bike now.

I carry a small bottle of sealant to deal with small punctures while riding, and have put sealant in training tires, but I'm reticent about pre-preemptive sealant in expensive tires. I had one bottle that must have had some bigger chunks of congealed sealant that got through the valve stem on the way in, but ended up in a larger lump that threw off the balance of the wheel and made it almost impossible to inflate the tire. Probably user error....
