Hi. I'm Craig and look forward to reading, posting, buying and selling. I live in Hotlanta.

I didn't ride today because I didn't feel like it. I did, however, take possession of some new tubular wheels from a local builder though and will put some Challenge Grifos on them later this week for use on trails up in Middlebury, VT where I'll be spending the summer. Tonight I put Jevolot Tire life on the sidewalls. Tomorrow the rims and tires will get the first layer of glue. Yippee!!

So just how do you blow kisses & wipe boogers? Is it just for the admins?

Wait, that didn't sound right, did it?

Joe from NYC (best salsa in the world) here. Hoping to get elected Mayor of the CP loop (the full 10k, which includes Harlem Hill), which is why I'm here.

If you're in the area and want to roll around on bikes and discuss the finer points of Tommy Boy, Squidbillies, Metallica or Mastodon, I'm your guy.

Fights begin, finger prints are took, days is lost, bail is made, court dates are ignored, cycle is repeated.

    for the newcomers agin.
under each name there are two button
    applaud and smite

its part of the software... on this forum its considered a joke.
smite someone..make sure you taunt them about it or it has no value.

    applaud someone if you must.
    anyone can do it.
its considered critical that newcomers smite dwf in order to gain acceptance to the larger forum.

Glad ya'll cleared that up. I'd been having visions of SteveP dressed like Charlton Heston smiting Roman's head with a big stick.

    eric,
    youve been smote.
frank, youll have to wait an hour.

eric, the way to remove this stain on yr name is to send me $10. i will erase it as soon as humanly possible.
if not erased it will grow into many smites and you will be besmirched.

having a sense of humor on this board is a crime.
riding a bicycle is serious business.
    now, get serious.

how far did you ride today?

    enjoy it..its been liberating.
I am proud to say that I survived a whopping 14.5 miles today, so far. Then I puked.

Up all night with work testing a full data center move. So, 1 hour of sleep, max. Running on coffee and coffee and coffee and altoids. Too little food and waaaay too little water for 100+ degree conditions. Normally when I start a ride feelin' a bit crappy I can "ride into" feelin' better, but not today - I wilted & fell apart in short order. Tooooo effin hot. Poor, poor Chris. :'(

Cooling off w/ some nice cool homemade pedialyte clone, but still too wired to nap. How do people with kids survive the sleep deprivation aspect of it??? I am a big huge sissy.

Anyway, still planning to strap the lights on & go out for a nice leisurely spin after dark - should be nice.
Heh. I did that 4 weeks ago. Full office move, including our data center. New Cisco VoIP phone system running on PoE, bundled our T1s and doubled our PRIs just to "mix things up". Luckily we signed a 4 year lease so it'll be AT LEAST that long before the next move :)

Humility. That and irony are my two favorite attributes.

As always, you are my technical and spiritual advisor.

well I was on that other forum wondering where my pals had gone when someone posted a link to this place. Being lemming-like I followed it and here I am.

My new training regimen has me spending 25 times as many hours on-line than on-bike. My climbing is worse than ever. Do I need a new coach? Carbon wheels? Should I install the as-yet-unused 24 tooth small ring I've been saving in the tool box for my old age which apparently has arrived?
