    Default Warm hands warm feet

I made a fairing for my bike out of Reflectix insulation and duct tape. Also made underbooties out of the same material that fit under my neoprene booties. Combined with Merino wool socks, I have had no issues with riding two hours in teen weather in NYC, except getting worn down by the cold. I've had frostbite, hands and feet, so this is a big deal for me. Can't figure out how to download images, but you can see the bike and fairing at flickr.com/photos/gowild/

Nice job! Looks just as good as those bar mitts doo-hickeys.

Someone better call the Manhattan Beach EMS, there is a balding Irish guy who just passed out as his computer.

PS. Sweet contraption. Very judicious use of zip ties.

I've been passing out the booties to guys I ride with in Central Park. No one gives me shit about them because they are hidden under my neoprene booties. They save my feet with no aero penalty. Also made from Reflectix and duct tape, and they mold to fit in short order. If it's not too much to ask, could a mod put those on the page as well?
