Thanks! That one's a '71 Raleigh International that was reworked by the previous guy. I grabbed the frameset, fenders and racks from him. He's active on bikeforums C&V. Canti posts added for 650b, fork raked to low trail, pump pegs added to the seat tube. He built the stainless racks as well as lowriders that only go on when needed. Stainless decaleur. It's also set for internal wiring for lighting, the next build will have a dynamo hub and more modern components. Maybe Sram 10s to mix road levers and MTB derailleurs. Or some wide range double 11s.

Skiing with a bit of cycling content - Col de l'Iseran, Val d'Isere.

Riding up the telecabine du Vallon you can see the road under the snow, switching back and forth up the hill.

Mountain weather. Don't like it? Wait a few minutes.

Five mile wander with my SO through the Bower Springs and Vaughn Hills conservation areas in Bolton. Icy in spots but for the most part quite clear. A blustery 32 degrees...

Evergreen ferns keeping it green out there.

My trail dog sometimes eats the trail.

Other things eat other parts of the trail.

Found some cool bridges on skidoo trails in an experimental forest. This is within 10 miles of my house and I've lived here 15 years. I gotta get out more.

Not all the roads have been potholed to death by winter yet, some are smooth as glass!

Managed to scratch out a quick 20-ish miles this afternoon in the cold...happy just to get out on the road at this point instead of a trainer.

    Classic bike, classic house

Evans-Mumbauer mill, built in 1745. Has had many uses over the years since then. Originally functioned using a 10' overshot water wheel on the Wissahickon creek.

The snow followed us around all week and there was no riding to be had for us in Seattle that's for sure. We did have a great time in the Winter Wonderland though and a ride to the top of the Space Needle on Saturday gave a cool glimpse of the impact of the snow. We did get a short break as Mt. Rainier came out and showed her pretty face while were waiting at SeaTac this afternoon...a site which never ceases to amaze.

All indoor exercise this week until I got out for 90 minutes yesterday afternoon.

On consecutive days last week I set PR's in two different duration Peloton workouts AND the 5K distance on the Erg, which has me of two minds.
One is that my fitness is noticeably improving, and I feel it when I'm outside on a real bike, and two is that I'm working out too often indoors to the point where I'm getting "good at exercise", which is a little depressing.

Took the kids and dog to Roosevelt Island yesterday- cold, sunny, and muddy.
The monument there seems awfully Soviet in its design.

Decided that I liked keeping all of the feeling in my extremities and called it an indoor activity weekend.

Visited LA on Friday and had time to rent a bike at I Martin and do some pedal time. Kinda messed up my mapping and starting from our hotel in Hermosa Beach, ended up on top of Old Topanga and Mulholland ceased to exist, necessitating a drop into the Valley and a few miles on Ventura Blvd then an ugly climb up Woodcliff back to Mulholland and the descent down Benedict Canyon back to I Martin. I can't read my phone map very well so caused myself some extra agony, but hey it's all bike riding and all good! Got a nice day of sunshine among the rain they have been experiencing. Old Topanga is a beautiful ride. And Venice is, well, contact high area! Loved the punk mural in Hermosa, memories of shows attended at the Metroplex in Atlanta.
