I did 37-38 miles this afternoon. I've been riding so much lately I should probably take a break soon, I'm feeling fit but rough around the edges. As it turns out my wife has an out of town job in Norfolk VA tomorrow morning I'll be taking her to though, so looks like tomorrow might be that day off. ;)
Pineapple express on pause.

Years ago I was in a bunch of guys cruising along at a pretty good pace when a couple guys behind me touched wheels, one guy goes down and breaks his shoulder and bangs his noggin hard enough to break his helmet. He's lying there on the side of the road receiving care and suddenly he starts going "Look! Look up in the sky!" We get a little concerned thinking something is going a little wrong.
"Buzzards!" he goes. "I'm not dead yet, you bastards! Come back later!"

A raucous good time albeit a little slower than I would have liked for a mid-week jaunt.

I drove quite a few miles today, but did still end up riding a quick 32 miles. I changed out my chain right before the ride and experienced what I consider one of the best feelings you can have on a bike - the smoothness of a new chain. I change mine out every 4-5 months and love that feeiing of powering into a new chain on a climb. :)
