Had a fun ride today, first day with bare legs! this bike is really fun, seems to do most things well, but climbs really well.

no kidding, its been unseasonably clear and sunny. grand day for riding!
its still pretty cold, but truth be told, we need rain, the river is getting to historic lows.

On an unseasonably warm Valentine's Day, the bike that stole my heart and I found ourselves in NY for a 4 Boro ride....

And yes, it is in the small ring because it is just easier to avoid the insane amount of tourists on the Brooklyn Bridge that way.

At the moment I am feeling the most wonderful feeling in the world that is only achieved after riding a bike outside after being cooped up by Old Man Winter.

While I wait for the state of PA to slowly get it's shit together, I find I have some opportunities for mid-week riding. Today featured a mixed terrain ride in temperatures hovering around 50*F.

I got out for about 23 this afternoon. It was overcast with drizzle but it was in the mid 50's. I really enjoyed the ride, after I got past the sandy part I put my glasses in my jersey pocket, it was just a losing battle with the drizzle. Tomorrow is supposed to be 70 degrees, might go sleeveless.
    I heart burnt bikes.

Bewheels (Brian) and I took the opposite approach to the Strava heat map, we decided to go to the big black hole in north Florida:

Oceola WMA, it's small game season. But we're pretty big.

Red face Re: Velocipede Salon Member Ride Reports - February 12 - February 18

Great rides everyone. I did 10 miles today (yay). Not what i wouldve preferred, but by the time I got home from work and made Grace and I dinner, it was already 5pm. And you dont wanna ride after dark on my streets, lol. Still a fun ride nevertheless - it was 70+ degrees.

72 degrees this afternoon. It's going to be 40 tomorrow. I got 30 miles in shorts and short sleeves. The Riddlers are about done, I'm going to get at least one more ride out of them before putting 35 Gravel Kings on.

awesome day today, and a nice sanity break to get outside and put in a some miles. my bike fleet is in a silly state of disrepair though. flat tubes, cut tires, bent fenders, etc etc. need to do some maintenance out in the garage soon. as such, excuse the mismatched tires!
