Thanks Teleguy, that response means a lot to me. This little guy is just so perfect. I am already in love with the little guy. Hope that your grandchildren are doing well! Thanks again, Dave

Just an early morning cruise...nobody on the road and it looks like all of the college kids headed back to school this weekend including our youngest. Lots of nice weather still in the forecast for the Summer so I'll be sure and take advantage of it.

I love that when you ride in the morning you have something that they can’t take away no matter what they throw at you the rest of the day.

    Vacation pics!

Couple weeks in Maryland at the beach, rode over 500 miles while I was there, did some looking about in Lewes, DE and surrounding areas as I contemplate the idea of retiring to the beach and getting a part time job in a bike shop.

    Next. Summer.

So the last two weeks I see a fisher cat, something I'd never seen before. Today, again something I'd never seen before. Riding back east on NYS 5S just entering Rotterdam Junction an older pickup coming toward me starts drifting across the double yellow line getting about a third of the way over heading directly at the SUV that had just barely passed me before jerking it back in their lane with a chirp of their tires.

The SUV was a Rotterdam police car. They reversed direction at the first driveway on the left and headed back the way they came quite sprightly.

Other than that it was a quiet late summer 52 miles wandering the ridge west of town.
