4th ride of the week done, slowly creeping up on it. This time I took a road bike out. That's going to take some adjusting to I think.

The horses were chilling today and I wish that I could say the same for the brewery.

I was following the tire tracks of this skinny tire rider. I think he gave up here, although I was hard pressed to figure out exactly what he did. I think he must have stopped, picked up his bike, turned around, pushing or carrying his bike.

And I ran into my cat friend, who was hunting for lunch. I haven’t seen him for about 2 months, so it’s good to see he’s still alive, although I hope he’s not killing too many songbirds.

Speaking of which, an acquaintance once saw a bear up there. He was heading downhill, fast-ish (>25 mph). That's gotta send the adrenaline pumping

With all the newbies spending time in the park this year, they were feeding the bears in Harriman. The bears have become more brazen and hang out by the lean-to shelters and other campsites. One repeat offender, has been nicknamed Cookie.

Humans find a way to wreck everything.

November-December are the months I ride very little in. Due to deadlines, not the weather though – why live in California if not for year round riding and amazing sunsets?



Recs on nice long sleeve jerseys are welcome though.
