My wife suggests that I respond asking if he will drive it down to Olympia so that I might take if for a test ride.
At 5'6.5", I may have to lower the seat a bit.
Bet that is sold in 24 hrs.
For a world tour, for gentlemen of a certain age ;)

From the photos and lack of car comment, I would hazard a guess that he lives on his boat? So the planned trip 'round the world' was sailing, not biking? Hence the need for the compact rig.
Six speed Bromptons are so wonky no wonder he wants to build a ss.
What's with the legs/bare-feet in the 1st pic?
Our friend's dad would do this. He had a blog for a while that was called Al's Abs. He said, "Evidently you have these muscles, you know this? Called abdominal muscles or abs for short. So you do these exercises and then you can see them. They call them 6 pack abs. SO I am doing it. Got a blog. You can follow along." Lots of photos of his stomach. Zero self-awareness. No shame. Modesty.
Probably just used his legs to show how small the bike was folded. And then got on the bike to show how you could magically raise the seat. Wore the skimpy shorts because they are comfortable. And you can swim in them and they dry right off! Got them on sale.
This ad is also living in the mainly fantasy land where a used thing becomes worth more than a new one because of the owner's customizations.
