Didn't see a thread about it.
A huge fight between Martin, Wiggins with Kiryenka, Dumoulin and that young Rohan Dennis doing a nice ride too in the ITT. It's been a long time I ever see that kind of suspense in a TT World championship.

Wow. That's a pretty solid gap between 1 and 2.
Didn't see that coming. Great ride from Dumoulin, so close to Martin being only 23y old.

Watching the ladies race yesterday was really cool. The 21 year old german lady gave it her all and took 30 seconds out of the then leader Alison Powers.

Wiggins should get to the track after worlds and put the hour record out of reach for poseurs. 57k in 56 minutes and he probably didn't even tell his legs to shut up.
Great rides by all three. And the womens' highlights had me rooting for Evie even though I already knew the outcome. The winner really turned herself inside out.
I would enjoy the full replays while I work but the UCI doesn't want me to. I can't wait until the UCI and IOC and their ilk get past their old fashioned approach to content rights.

Damn did you see that crash in the Womens race?
Alison Powers is off the front after getting up off the pavement right now. They reeled her back in, but someone has to attack!
-Joe
She would not admit to it on dutch tv. After all her team mates turned themselves inside out for her, that would not be the right thing to do. She said she always hoped for orange to win , over a trade team mate. She did not want to pull the group of 4 in the last 2 km and get silver or bronze, and after that ?
ps, Pretty exiting final not?
Confusing finish to the womans road race...none of the three with Voss were sprinters and they'd already used a whole lotta energy staying away. I would have thought a 3-out-of-4 chance of a medal would have been better than waiting for the bunch to catch.

I was also surprised vos let it come back together. I wonder if she is sick or recovering from a bug. Then again, the winner would have been tough to beat anyway. She's been so strong this year.
Vos sure seemed interested in whatever she thought was going on behind her.
Well, Borghini and Vos looked like the best sprinters out of the 4 and were afraid of each other. Amistead knew she would be beaten by them if she kept taling pulls, Johansson always had a hard time beating Vos in the races and was saving all the energy she could after her attack. Worlds are always special races, riders count their matches and unless bruteforce works and a rider goes solo (think Philippe Gilbert win in 2012) cooperation is always difficult within the last kms.
