Riding indoors yesterday. Pilates today.

Night riding with a group of about 10 or 12 tonight in the Headlands. It was a perfect night to ride.

I had to go for a ride on Tuesday morning: the sun was shining, the sky was clear. In two days it will be raining again. I tried to improve my skills riding up and down a rocky trail several times and check how tyre pressure affects handling.

Instaweather app is very positive about temperatures.

Considering the fact I was hungover this morning the series of 30/30 felt surprisingly good.

I woke up this morning and didn't really feel sick for the first time in a month! Went out for a 90 minute spin in 50* windy weather. Came home, got super congested, had a coughing attack and realized my body is totally messing with me. The good news is that my recent unplanned weight loss has made climbing easier. The bad news is that we only have one "hill."

We have had temps above freezing for a days now. Everything is melting during the day and at night it sets up a nice icy crust. Great to be out riding and not be freezing. So I got that going for me, which is nice.

It's not the Moots Trail Builder Bike, but it'll have to do. Lots of trees down.

I did gravel rides Monday and today. Yesterday was perfect for a ride but my son was making his high school baseball pitching debut, can't miss that. He pitched three innings in a preseason scrimmage and had one hit. I was a proud dad.

Last night's training ride was derailed by obnoxiously loud fender rubbing that I couldn't figure out. Made up for it tonight

A belated post of a 3,5 hour ride last Tuesday. I celebrated my birthday (the 42nd) on the bike and in the sun somewhere around the halfway point between Ljubljana and Venice.

Gravel ride followed by some bike maintenance. It was a good day, upper 40's with a slight breeze, lots of people out on the gravel section. I rode the Argonaut last Friday and Saturday but the front tire was flat on Sunday so being lazy, I just rode the red GT instead. The GT had a rear flat on Monday morning. The rear tire was a pretty ancient Gatorskin and I found a piece of wire in the tread that I couldn't get out so I just tossed it and put a new gatorskin on. I'm not hypocritical about my bikes, the GT is a fillet brazed frame with a steel fork with an open Pro wheelset on Chorus hubs. It's not a high dollar ultra light bike with nice wheels, it's a bike for gatorskins.

Just (finally) closed a deal that has been months in the making. Lots of long days lately- back to fitness starting this 3-day weekend.
