At 155 I'd look like someone with a fatal eating disorder and no amount of Assos or Rapha would fix that look. Of course I'm chubby right now and yes no cycling clothing looks good on that either, but this summer, just wait ... I'll be lean and mean and lookin' fine (hope springs eternal).

It's not an inside joke when it's on the internet, but, you know, I feel ya.

Houston...convert that photo to B&W and it could be in a Rapha ad and in the Rapha thread.

Can we merge this thread with the Planing discussion and just call it "Winter Sucks"?

7 pages already ? Did you even found the time to ride your bike ? I did. Several times this week. Exact mileage : no idea. Amount of technical clothing used : 0%

Can someone warn me when to order popcorn for the time you will start discussing the merit of <insert brand> chamois creme over the <insert other brand> one on your delicate sissies asses ?

Sportique or Above Category. My sissy ass can't stand anything else when I go out for wimpy little rides.

Wait, what kind of popcorn? I assume we’re talking free-range/ non-GMO, gluten free, vegan, local, independent, bespoke, no-sodium popcorn made from heirloom kernels of unquestionable kwality. The type that only come from the South side of Ventoux during La Nina cycles in the Western Hemisphere...

Next time leave the helmet home and ride barefoot.

Perhaps this will come with the S9 generation bibs, which they have teased on their site and say will be coming soon. I love my Equipe S7 bibs and can hardly fathom how you could make a better bib short.

Funny how different shorts are from person to person. I am not a fan of the Equipe S7 at all. The materials are, of course, top notch but I don’t find them comfortable for any ride longer than an hour.

I've never used chamois cream. I don't wish to ride around feeling I've soiled my shorts.

As to why I'm not riding outdoors (people always seem to react with dismay that people are doing indoor training) this might give a clue. Can't say I'll live here forever and now is not the time to ask if I love it. Summers are much better. Even though this picture is a month old, it still looks like this out this window. It's still winter where I live. Maybe I'll move to Dallas after all. Or at least for winters.

Back on topic, the basement of the house where this was taken is full of bikes I'll regret selling. Or not.

I'd gladly leave the bike in the basement if there are groomed XC skiing trails around the place. Is it the case ?
