    Default race, comedy fest

i check out the results of a race last weekend in vt and my team guys got 2nd, 3rd and 5th in the elite rce.

now, 2nd, 3rd is not an optimal result... 1st is preferable...
so, my question is... "what happened to you guys to not win this?"

    the answer is:
we had 3 guys in this hilly rr... all 3 suffered mechanical problems..
mitchells shift lever froze in the 28t... his gears included a 53-28 and a 39-28.
curtis had a flat early ... dugan stopped and gave him a wheel
waited for the wheel van... got a change, caught the field back and attacked w/ 5-6 other guys... mitchell meanwhile stopped and released his der cable..thereby dropping the chain to the 11.. now he had a 53-11 and a 39-11. all 3 make the break of 6.
idea was to send dugan and when he got caught send curtis in solo for the win.
funny enough he was smoked from the chase but stayed away and finished 2nd to some kid from canada who sat in all day.

bike racing is funny sometimes. they did everything right.

If they were real pros, they all would have thrown their bikes in a ditch and abandoned. What kind of hard working, dedicated amateur squad are you running Pooch? They should have been whining and crying and protesting results like real pros. You trying to raise role models or something?

Good move to the 11, something A. Schleck would have a hard time conceiving.

ATMO you should have a look at your sarcasm detector too. I wonder if there is something stuck inside.

yeah i know. those kids are hooked up better than half the pro-tour teams- and way better than any domestic team. you run a solid program mr. pucci.
