Sorry, meant to include the URL to the article. I'm a fan of good design and this guy seems to have a penchant for bikes, but this doesn't really do it for me.

I have an old book dealing with bicycle design and components.

In 1980s, that was exactly how they thought a 2010 bike would look!!

    It's here finally!! :sarcasm:

Fail. Cranks should be well behind the rear hub. Should also try to kill you when you stop pedaling mid-corner.

That's right, it needs a carbon post.

Shaft drive, disc brakes and it looks like it even has a glove compartment. If he can get it down to under 40 pounds I'd buy one.

Jeff Tiedeken's gravity bike is the first thing to come to mind...

Those are not 911 spokes. Platform pedals? Helmet recepticle is cloyingly cute. They got the body color right.

Horrible concepts like this should be left with the harley/chopper crowd.

Well, it fits with the platform pedals and drop bars would ruin the lines of the integrated head tube/light/fork. I can see the first aftermarket product will be Porche shifter nobs a flat bar ends.

Haha. I actually like it. Fix up a few things like the seatpost etc. and I reckon it rocks. Not meant to race CX ( I got your joke progetto) or crits, up alps or even 'tour' to the next town. It's just a bit of fun and looks a hell of a lot better than a lot of concept bikes over the years.
