    Default A note on Spoilers!

Let's remember to carefully title our threads when we get all excited. Watching a one day race when you already know who won sucks.

    Thanks!

Going to a chat board about bicycles and hoping to not learn the race results in some way seems absurd. Watch first then flit around on sites like this....

is it really absurd to ask people to be considerate in titling their threads?
    seems like a reasonable request.

Maybe it's just me but I enjoy watching races much more knowing the outcome. It allows you to analyze everything that went into the win or loss of a particular rider/team along the way in great detail. Knowing the result first saves me having to watch it twice - once "blind" and then again for the analysis.

Having the option is even better.

Piss off. It's a simple request and I know I'm not the only one.

i don't care much about race results but i do think it's reasonable to ask that they are buried in threads rather than in the headers atmo.
for now, i had a quick glance and could not find any violations.

    thanks.

Life is not without risk. When you open the forum look with squinty eyes to lessen the damage.

Can we agree that discussing (and divulging) outcomes in dedicated threads is fair game? I mean, what can you when you open a thread called "Ronde Van Vlaanderen" the day after the race? Are spoiler warnings realy necessary in such instances?

Of course. It's titles like "Boonen does it again" or "Gilbert is awesome" that pretty much give it away.

Leaving specifics out of the title is good form.

I know we can do this folks. Thanks in advance.

I think this may warrant a section of the VSalon User Guide. More suggestions for the guide are welcome here.
