    Default Michelin Tubular?

    Zuh? Michelin Boyau Race Tubular

Who makes these? Boy it would sure be nice if it were a Michelin sized 24 mm.

I found some good photos here (scroll left or "newer" for more): Michelin Service Corse Tubular 24C | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

They are made in the same factory that produces Vittoria and Vredestein.
I read they are not greatly finished near the valve, thus it's difficult to "shape" them round on the wheel. They even, notice the bump while riding.
The Frenchies here, said it doesn't match the ride of a Vittoria... may be it's an Anti-Michelin reaction, people don't like it after they tried to convince everyone that clinchers are better, and now produces tubulars in Thailand.

You know, I had actually missed what looks like Vittoria logos on the base tape in one of those flickr photos. It is a pity that these are being sold for more than Vittoria CX. I guess the only reason the store wants so much money is because they are hard to find.
