Can anyone comment on the ride and longevity of the Hutchison Fusion 2 tires?

I am thinking about using these on my commuting wheels (Ksyriums) with some stan's no tube system. Ksyrium's would be an easy application e.g. no spoke holes.

    Thanks.

My rear tire began to "square off" at 1,000 miles and I replaced it at 1,500. The front one is still going strong. I suppose I could handle commuting on them if I didn't pay retail. Only one flat so far - it was a big glass shard and I was able to ride home - just lost about half the pressure.

I did the Stans conversion on a set of old Mavic Cosmos - worked like a charm. I also have the Dura Ace 7850 SL wheelset set-up as tubeless. I like them both - tubeless is the future.

I had them on Kinlin Nbr rims (19mm). They worked like a charm and rode nice enough. I tried to get them to seat on my Edge clincher rims and had no luck. There was always air escaping from somewhere along the rim. The valve is just long enough so it would have been a nice setup to play with. Oh well. Let us know what you think of the ride on them.

Don't forget the -5-10psi drop with them. You don't want to use them with the same pressure as you would normally on that size clincher tire. I rode them at under 100psi.

    Eric:

Thanks. I am planning on 90-95 psi.
