Richie, the new look is fantastic. The unified graphics and incorporated sponsor logos are so great.

    The jerseys are fucking awesome.

I am excited and jealous at the same time. Good for you.

I have never used/would never use a braze-on for a cx bicycle atmo.

From the colors to the cable barrel ends... Outstanding. Though I still believe that my 2008 Zank cross frame was the first to use a House Industries typeface.

The carbon clamp is to save 5 or 6g. I am told it's important because you have to lift a cx bike often.

Hey I missed this post because I was driving up to VT. Nice meeting briefly meeting the Sachs clan! I was aiming for those cream kits when taking some photos during the elite race. Here's a pretty cool one of Dan C. sprinting for the line on Day 1.

That man has the spine of a cyclocrossing seal. Enviable.

Thanks! I only wish the exposure was a bit less blown out. My camera is too slow for burst mode in raw so I've only got the jpeg.

Not to be a blowfly, and I fully realize that at the end of the day, it's none of my business, but is the House logotype really going to be featured on all currently built, custom framesets?

I must say that that detail bugs me. It just seems weird that a custom builder such as yourself would have another business entity advertised on your frame. I can see where a tubeset manufacturer's branding would be displayed (given the long history of such being done on many levels of frames over the years) but actually placing another brand on a high-end, custom frame strikes me as almost tacky.

    Sorry.

While I understand the reasoning behind multiple brands being showcased on many a given product, and have gotten used to seeing products and branding strategically placed in TV shows and even movies, it just seems odd and bothersome to do so in this particular situation.

I try to imagine a similar treatment on say, a Pegoretti road frame, and it sorta disappoints me on more than a few levels.

Again - I can see it on your racing jerseys, as that is expected, but to be permanently affixed onto your custom-executed frameset is quite another animal.

    Anyway, just my opinion.

On a more positive note, I absolutely LOVE the choice of colors and placement theme, though. Well done.

I think what has been shown are e-Richie's team bikes, not frames paid for by customers.

and front derailleurs with 28.6mm clamps have not existed for quite some time

Campy was the last man standing but only on the bottom-barrel groups. Thankfully the parallelogram/cage were held onto the body pivots with circlips/bolts instead of rivets, so you can transplant the functional parts of a Chorus onto the body of a Xenon. I learned it by watching you!

I hope so. The press write-ups were somewhat confusing with that detail...

I don't understand. If those guys want to win shouldn't they be riding carbon bikes with disc brakes? I hear that's the way to go these days.
