I just got back from a ride. 35 degree wind chill. I'm not joking, there were dead iguanas all over Key Biscayne.

Dear Matt, we are very sorry about your tragic situation Iguanas notwithstanding. Riding in 35 degree (cough) wind chill surely is horrifying.

    PTSD is real.

The cold I like. I could do without the 25mph wind. The fear of falling iguanas really is the stuff of nightmares.

This is the sort of thing you read about in the Bible shortly before God destroys a city.

Yesterday was almost too cold to ride. I couldn't imagine fighting the good fight out there today.

I saw at least five other people riding. The Don Pan ride was just Almo.

An article recently published suggested switching from 2" socks to 6" socks to help withstand the icy Florida winters.

At least five other folks are better people than I. But then again, I don't have to worry about sliding on the black ice out there.

This one time, when I lived on Oahu, I was riding on the Kahala side of Diamond Head and a coconut landed next to me. It was 80 degrees.

I just got a cold chill. What's it like getting a second chance?

I'd like to organize a scarf and hat drive for all the FL Vsalonistas. Matt, what's your preferred mailing addy?

I was in florida one winter for a training camp. One of the features of the place was a lake, some of it surrounded by trees. We were back in the wooded part when someone noticed snakes hanging from the trees. Fortunately, it was warm enough that the snakes didn't fall into our canoes.

Curiously both rattlesnakes and Iguana taste like chicken.

I'll just leave that right there.
