Default Display HR real time to ipad -iphone.

We need to test a large group (~30) on a treadmill protocol.
The test is short and after warmup will be aborted at 80% of calculated max HR.
In the past we used the wired pulse oximeter option which is a pain to keep in place, as was the old Polar HRM.
Any suggestions for arm bands and apps that interface with it?
No recording is needed. Just live readings.

Mio wrist bands get good wraps for accuracy.

Reports I've heard for wrist or arm based HRM's have been mixed. I know the one in my Garmin fitness tracker is terrible vs a chest strap.

If I were going to go down that route though, I'd probably go with a Wahoo Tickr fit. I have the chest strap and it's good. The wrist version will pair with their app and give you a live reading. The app is available on android and iOS so it'll work with nearly any mobile device.

I should have said - very unusual for a wrist monitor.

    Rhythm+ Armband Heart Rate Monitor

Scosche are excellent arm HR. This one could work. Read the reviews regarding accuracy and I think you will be impressed.

    Thanks so much!
We ordered two and they worked flawless for our needs.
I could monitor a HR from 35 ft away. So much better than the old Polar belts.
One day, I could not get a reliable signal, when I realized I put a screen protector on the phone.
After I removed it, everything was back to normal. Surprised me that a bluetooth signal was obstructed that way.

That would be interesting - an iPhone case that is a data skimmer.

Actually a Motorola. And it was only the screen protector, no case. Signal restored after I pulled it off.
Also, don't forget to remove the transparent sticker over the LED's of the strap, "I did".
