    Default Deerfield Mosquitoes

Beware, the skeeters have not died off like they frequently do by mid-August. Bring whatever you consider your favorite potion, stink pot, etc for the post ride soiree. I'm down half a quart after 10 minutes in the garage after dusk. Just vicious this summer.

    That would be Hadley.

The Hatfield/Hadley rivalry goes back to King Phillip's war and a hastily decided decision that it would be expedient to splitwhat previously was all the town of Hatfield into two separate towns for purposes of defense against "savages". Hatfield now defends itself against savages with regressive tax policies and strict zoning ordinances. Hadley has Rt9, and all the disgusting big box stores... Plus UMass rifraff.

Hatfield has lots of potatoes a great slaughterhouse, and kickass dirt motorcross track, and all the rich, silty soil necessary to build large jumps for bicycles.

    +1 for Hatfield.

    off topic?
in the old deerfield town cemetary behind the academy there is a gravestone.. with someones name and
killed by savages on the stone

    something like that..
lot of war back then between those people who had no titles to the land and the british settlers who had such title.
