Always liked Spain and Portugal more than Italy to bike travel in.
It's a personal thing for sure.

100%, so many close calls touring in italy, spain they wait untill they have a good line of site and give you a friendly honk and wave. Its not that people in Italy are not friendly, they are just aggressively friendly.

    .
Wout had to wear that jersey one time only. The whole contract mess. I wonder if he just didn't give his best because of that in his last race of the season.

David van der Poel is out for at least one race due to a knee injury at Hoogstraten.

Kevin Pauwels announced he will retire at the end of the season.

Amazingly there are two more C1 races left. Middelkerke on the 16th and Oostmalle on the 24th.

BTW, Omloop Het Nieuwsblad is on March 2, the weekend after Oostmalle. So there won't be any time for the ugly after-effects of CX withdrawal.

I am gobsmacked. Pauwels is a favorite, but that's more words than I've heard out of him ever.

    Nice car too.
