Interesting for sure. That’s several blocks from our house. I remember looking at the building for potential shop space but passed on it. Area where they bought is still sketchy at times but changing. Exciting times here and we definitely have a good and developing bike community.

Very good friend of mine bought a building two blocks (I think) from the building they are moving into. Heís pretty optimistic about the neighborhood. Crust is a good sign. I lived in Richmond for a number of years back in the late 80ís mid 90ís, and I think Crust is a good match for the psyche of the place, if thatís the right word.

That area and farther south in the city is one of the last frontiers in terms of renovation and redevelopment. It’s coming though. The city’s such that you travel a few blocks and find yourself in a vastly different place.
Looking forward to what they will bring to the community.

I follow all their Instagram posts for the bikes they make. The paint on that building though.

Having logged about 2000km on one of their bikes now, I can heartily endorse this outfit. If you're in the market, definitely worth considering. The geo is pretty straightforward, and the rest is weird in the best way (really, it's everything I would have asked for in a custom bike but standard: internal fully-housed cabling, hella bottle mounts, rack and fender mounts, internal dynamo routing on the fork, bombproof paint, future-proof-ish axle and BB parameters...). Plus they're nice folks.
