Default Come on legs talk to me

They used to listen and respond
Does this have something to do with age?

After 2 weeks and a half of confinement and only 3 errands outside I'm not even sure I still have legs.

One of the most beautiful feelings is riding yourself into shape on a tour when your legs feel strong af by about day 5.

Legs have been shit for the past two weeks, lungs shit, motivation shit, bike felt like shit and heavy.

Today was different. Two hours only, but was able to push it hard the whole time. I came home and took a nap while the kids destroyed the living room.

+1. Nothing like arriving somewhere shattered, thinking “right, I am staying here tomorrow” and then waking up and thinking “oh, right, might as well do it again then”.

I never got to the point where I didn’t feel shattered, but I got past the need for rest days. Course I’m a decade older now...

Mine are starting to come back. I was sick for about two weeks in January, dry cough with a few days of high fever. It really set me back for a month afterward, my lungs would burn when I pushed a hard effort. That faded about four weeks ago and I've been adding on miles and effort since.

On a side note, I heard there will be an antibody test soon.

Question Re: Come on legs talk to me

This year is going to be interesting for me with 95% of riding being done indoors as we reach summertime.
It will be curious to see how these indoor miles stack-up in the "real world" when we get outside someday.

As long as you are actually doing work on the trainer - it works. Have had many years of experience. Most recent example - I live in Illinois, means stuck on the trainer for most of the winter. If we get lucky and the weather is nice on weekends, I go outside.

But did 90+% of work on the trainer and then did 24 Hours of Old Pueblo in mid February. I was on a single speed team and out down the fastest single speed lap. Most of the top singlespeed guys were from the southwest states.
