Default Columbus Tubing for CX Bike

Lots of variables at play here, but if I were going with a fillet-brazed 59cm TT bike I am looking at the following pros and cons of the tubing options:

    Columbus Life
    Pros:
Lighter tubing for same size diameter
Larger diameter tubing possible due to weight savings
    Cons:
Thinner walls more prone to damage . . . ?
    Silver fillets more expensive
    Tubing slightly more expensive

    Columbus Zona
    Pros:
    Lowest cost option
Use of brass fillets vs silver
    Thicker tubing walls more resliant . . . ?
    Cons:
Heavier by up to 1/2 lb for my size build
Smaller tubing = less stiffness (6'4" 165lbs rider, not making Trebon wattage, but hopefully something substantial)

I am looking for any opinions or especially feedback from riders who have bikes made of said tubing. Tall guy feedback would be neat too.

    Thanks

Better to be ruined than to be silent atmo.

i don't think the consumer should be concerned with the filler alloy atmo. past that, i am not sure
lugs weigh "that much" more than a pile of brass, especially considering that one might use the next
gauge pipe up for the build.

Remember that the Life tubing has a more toughness due to the heat treat. So while the wall is a little thinner than Zona, that doesn't necessarily mean it's more prone to denting. At your weight, both sets offer tubing in appropriate diameters. Aside from the small weight differences, either set or some combination of the two will build into a great bike.
