Starship was the name of the Columbus tubing those bikes were made out of, a very light weight 6000 series aluminium. They were also prone to cracking after a few seasons of hard riding. Definitely a race tubeset.

I really want one of those Canyon AL frames they were riding at P-R a couple years ago. Don't know what Canyon is doing with al these days, but they were sweet a few seasons back.

    They're doing this:

It looks very nice, and I almost picked one up used last year. For 799 Euros, it's a fine deal.

Don't have a pic, but the new BMC ALR01 is a nice-riding AL bike.

I don't know how many times I've said this but the Gaulzetti Corsa is my all-time dream bike. Belgian blue, black font, red king headset, full campy chorus.

Craig's philosophy, memories of riding an '04 Cannondale Saeco edition (in hindsight an ill-fitting one) to glory back in college, and the work it would take to be worthy of such a ride makes me think I wouldn't need to own any other aluminum bike after that.

Two members on here Roastie and Ade put together the Engineered Donder

    Procycling liked it http://engineeredbikes.co.uk/wp-cont...Y_213_p125.pdf

I have a custom version so not a true race bike (pic), but its a fine bike for sure

Every time I see a Peg 8:30 AM I think of 10:15 on a Saturday night. I cannot explain why that synapse fires.

That's a good question. I believe the 20th Anniversary frames have yet to be delivered so it could be a bit of a wait if available at all

I see a Low Cycles frame go through Blue Lug's Flickr feed or YouTube channel every other month or so. They have a line they call "Low-key" at $1200 for a road frame. But wait time is 9 months, so I don't know if that works as equipment for a cycling team.

I looked at those going into 2020. Like them a lot, but yeah...9mos isn't ideal.
